Privacy Policy

Visitors: browsing needs no account. If you submit an enquiry or quote form, we receive the name, phone, email and description you type into it.

Registered users: email, password (stored hashed — we cannot read it), phone if you provide one, and display name.

Businesses: the name, address, phone, email, hours, description, photos and services you enter — information that exists in order to be published.

Technical: we record request IP addresses briefly, to limit abuse.

Site search: when you search on the site, we record your search terms (phone numbers and email addresses in common formats are masked), the language, category and city, to improve search results. This record is not linked to your account.

Running the service (showing listings, delivering enquiries, sign-in and password reset), preventing abuse (rate limiting, verification codes), and taking payment if you subscribe.

We do not sell your personal information.

Only the providers needed to run the service:

• Stripe — subscription payments. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never passes through our servers; we learn only whether payment succeeded.
• Resend — sends our email (verification codes, password resets, enquiry notifications).
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in, to confirm your email.
• Our own server — site data lives in a database we operate.

Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law requires it.

A message sent from a business's own page goes to that business only, and is not passed to anyone else.

A request submitted on a category page is passed to up to three paying businesses in that category.

Either way it includes the name, contact details and description you entered — that is what the form is for. If you would rather businesses did not receive your contact details, do not submit it.

We also keep a copy, so we can check what was sent if a business says it never arrived, and to deal with misuse.

We use cookies necessary for signing in, to keep you logged in. We currently run no advertising trackers.

Account data for as long as the account exists. Verification codes expire and become unusable after 10 minutes. Listing data while the listing is published.

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account. Contact us at the support address on this site.

Note that listings and reviews that were public may persist in search-engine caches for a time after deletion, which is outside our control.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If you give us a phone number, it is used only to send you a one-time verification code confirming that the number is yours.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number ormessaging consent data to third parties or affiliatesfor marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not use them to send you marketing texts, promotions or bulk notifications.

Message and data rates may apply to a verification text — those are charged by your carrier, not by us. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
